    Good local fish n chip shop. Ladies that work there are lovely and deliver consistent quality food. Well done and keep it up. Potato scallops, fish cocktail pieces and chips. Yum.

    Everything is made fresh in store. Not your average take away because it is fresh. Chips are cut by hand, burgers are made fresh, buns are toasted and the fish is freshly battered. Locally owned and operated by welcoming people. Despite being fresh it's still very affordable and priced well.

    Chips were very undercooked, some still almost being crunchy raw potato? Also were extremely oily and even though we were specifically asked what kind of salt we wanted, food came out without any seasoning at all. Very disappointed. Won’t be back.

    We bought 2 burger packs and a calamari pack for two kids to share. So much food! We couldn’t finish it. The best hand cut chips in Newcastle. Burgers are unreal and the calamari was perfect.

    Our favourite for burgers, real potato chips. Try the calamari. Can be busy at times so best to ring ahead.

    Don’t let these fancy burger shops with their led screens and flash decor fool you. The Avenue is where it’s at!
